Protecting the privacy of our customers is important to Reliance Bank, its Board of Directors and its employees. Therefore, the following policy has been instituted to serve as a standard for all Reliance Bank employees for collection, use, retention, and security of nonpublic personal information.
WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

"Nonpublic personal information" is nonpublic information that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to our customers. For example, nonpublic personal information includes information regarding account balances, payment histories, and overdraft histories. We also use information we collect to identify you, to communicate with you and to help us respond to your questions.
WHAT INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE
We are permitted under law to share information about our experiences or transactions with our customers and their accounts (such as account balances and payment histories with us) with companies related to us by common control or ownership ("affiliates").
We also are permitted under law to disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers to "nonaffiliated third parties" in certain circumstances. For example, we may disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers to such third parties to assist us in servicing a loan or account with us; to government entities in response to subpoenas; and to credit bureaus. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information to any other third parties, except as permitted by law.
When customers decide to close an account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices in this notice.
OUR SECURITY PROCEDURES
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard our customers' nonpublic personal information.
EMPLOYEE ACCESS AND USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
We have procedures that limit employee access to personally identifiable information to those employees with a business reason to know such information about you. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operating procedures, and our policies on ethics. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities. All Reliance Bank employees are required to follow our Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics provides that employees are obligated to keep customer information confidential and never to discuss or disclose such information inside or outside of Reliance Bank unless required to transact proper Reliance Bank business.
