Mobile Banking

Mobile Banking is the ultimate on-demand service. With it, users can access their account information 24/7 from any mobile phone with either text messaging, Mobile Web access or through a downloadable APP (application).

There are three types of Mobile Banking available:

Text Banking - from mobile phones with text capabilities users can:

  • View account balances
  • View recent transaction history

Message and Data rates may apply

Mobile Web Banking – from mobile phones with Web access users can:

  • View account balances
  • View recent transactions
  • View pending transactions
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Pay bills from your mobile phone
  • Locate a nearby branch or ATM

Mobile Web service is required for this level of service. Message and Data rates may apply.

Smart Phone APP – same functions as Mobile Web Banking

  • APP must be downloaded and installed onto compatible mobile devices
  • Currently available for most popular smart phone operating systems


To enroll for the Smart Phone APP, visit your App Store and download the "TouchBanking" App.  Enter the code RBMobile when prompted.  For verification, your online banking credentials will then need to be entered.

To enroll for the Text Banking or Mobile Web Banking option:

  • Log in to Online Banking
  • Either Click “Enroll Now” when the Mobile Banking enrollment page appears, or Click on “User Options” from the landing page.
  • If you clicked on “User Options”, scroll down to the Mobile Banking Profile header.
  • Click “Enroll Now
  • The Mobile Banking terms and conditions page is then displayed.
  • Select the Accept check box and Click “Continue

The “Your Details” screen is then displayed.

  • Choose the correct time zone
  • Select the accounts you would like to be available in Mobile Banking
  • Enter the nickname you would like to use for each account.  Note:  the nickname you choose will be the name associated with the account when texting for balance and history information.  The nickname does not appear in the app or browser versions.
  • Click Continue

The “Mobile Phone Number” screen is displayed.

  • Enter your mobile phone number, including area code
  • Click Next


The “Select Your Services” screen is displayed

  • Choose the type of mobile banking service you would like.  The available options are the web browser, which is similar to the app, but is a link that can be bookmarked, or the text service, which is available for any phone that does not have internet service.
  • Click Next

A text message is then sent to your phone with an activation code.  Note:  the activation code expires after 24 hours.

The “Activate Your Phone” screen is then displayed.

  • Enter the activation code from the text message you received
  • Click Activate to complete the enrollment.

Another text message is then sent to your phone with the link for the web browser option, or a short code for the texting method.  If the web browser was chosen, click on the link and bookmark it.  The texting text message will give you the number where you may text BAL and receive your balance information or HIST Nickname (the nickname of the account you chose in a previous step) and receive your most recent transactions.
